How the calculation works
Every entry and exit day counts as a day of stay. For each day, the calculator checks that day plus the previous 179 days. Overlapping entries are counted once.
The result follows the general short-stay calculation described by the European Commission's official calculator. It does not determine whether the rule applies to a particular passport, visa, residence permit, or bilateral agreement.
